High-Quality Parylene Coatings For Aerospace & Defense
Parylene coating services introduce a high-performance coating to provide additional protection to vital components across a variety of industries. Using vacuum deposition, PRS parylene coatings offer an incredibly thin, pinhole-free, and uniform film penetrating tight spaces to 0.01mm.
Our parylene coatings are chemically inert, biocompatible, and FDA-approved for use in medical implants, as well as compliant with the requirements of NASA Low Outgassing materials. Polyurethane Conformal Coating PCB
PRS offers polyurethane PCB coatings in single and two-component formulations. Single-component polyurethane conformal coatings offer extended pot life but a longer cure cycle; in contrast, two-component polyurethane PCB coatings feature a quick cure time but a shorter pot life than single-component formulations. Single- and two-component polyurethane coatings are easily applied and provide excellent moisture, chemical, and abrasion resistance. Polyurethane PCB coatings are ideal for aerospace applications or applications where exposure to vapors is a standard concern.
BGA Underfill for Defense
Manual and automated Ball Grid Array (BGA) underfill services provide enhanced protection for circuit board assemblies. PRS underfill services detect potentially sensitive components in an assembly needing underfill and then determine an appropriate material, like the Plasma Ruggedized proprietary solution of Kronos-10.
BGA underfill is a type of surface-mount packaging for circuit board assemblies, increasing protection against damage from harsh environmental conditions and heavy shock or vibrations, as well as reducing thermal stresses while improving reliability. Our BGA underfill services are excellent for sensitive circuit board assemblies and electronics in aircraft, automotive, and medical industries.
